This was noted as a jewelry box--but is actually just a lacquer ornamental box. No padding or sections and hardly enough room for more than a handful of jewelry items. Seemed smaller than the advertised length, and definitely a lot less weight than the shipping charges warrant. Not worth the cost.

For the first time, I've gotten not what I expected....glue tracks along the interior joints & thin paint/applique....I'll be more careful next time

This jewellery box is lovely, a good size and great quality. I had a moment of disappointment when I opened the Amazon packaging and saw a patterned green cardboard box thinking I'd been conned but then opened the green box to find the red japanese box inside, now I use both boxes to store my jewellery. Very pleased.
