 Bought as "New" and got it "used" January 6, 2009
ordered item as "new" and when I got it it had a return receipt stapled to inside lid that said "missing parts" and had to return item, they didn't have any more, and still waiting for my credit.

turned out to be more than I had expected. She uses it all the time.

Like other reviewers I purchased this item 6 months ago and at first it worked great. Then, out of nowhere, it stopped picking up dirt. Called the company where they also tried to get me to spend more money to get the thing fixed but I refused and threatened to report them. They agreed to send a battery pack for no charge. Unfortunately, the new battery was not the issue and it still doesn't work. I called back again and if I was willing to spend the shipping money, they would fix it for free. Since the item only cost me 30.00 to begin with it's not worth it. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM...
Mom loves this shark! December 18, 2008
I bought this for my mom as the regular broom hurts her back and she loves it. she uses the shark a few times a week and she says it picks up everything. she has some area rugs and it cleans up alot.
Great product.
Now my sister wants one and I will order another.....

I have been happy with the regular, bigger sized Sharks in the past. I thought I would try this one because I liked the price. Unfortunately it only lasted 3 days - I suspect it has something to do with the battery. We charged it according to the instructions so I'm not sure what happened.
