This book sat on the desk in my bedroom for approximately a week before I finally opened it. When I finally opened it and start reading it, I asked myself was I really ready to hear what Mr. Harvey had to say? From addressing the DNA of manhood, to explaining how men need to both feel and be validated by their significant others, I found that this book can help a lot of women from making the mistakes directly pointed out in this book with men, and can also assist women who have already made some not so good choices by utilizing the preventive measures Harvey provides. The truth of it all is that what he states cleary makes good sense. Women who are too strong and too indepent constantly running around stating they don't need a man nine times out of ten will not get a man. A woman that continues to make it easy to get the cookies probably want get a man to take her seriously. She will always be labled as the "Fun Girl" until she can get her self together. A woman allowing a man to date her to death without demanding the relationship is taken to the next level will probably end up playing house permanently.
It makes sense but the one thing sometimes women can fear the most is addressing or pushing a situation that may drive there man away. Thanks for stating the following in your book Mr. Harvey, "Don't be afraid to lose him because, If a man truly loves you, he's not going anywhere." You don't know how many of us women need to state those words to ourselves daily just for self assurance purposes. I think that once we can get pass being afraid as women to lay and set the foundation of what we want out of man from the begging just as mentioned in this book, women as a whole will all be much better off. Mr Harvey's litearary self help guide for women is great. Truly it
could not have come out in a better time.

I'm not a big fan of Steve Harvey, but this book had great reviews on many lists. I'm a fan of ELLEN, Steve was on and poked fun at his life and how to came to write this book. Its entertaining and yet quite informative on the "silly" issues of relationships. Good purchase!

I was disgusted by most of the advice in this book. I was shocked by his misogynistic views on love and marriage. It's one thing to help a man feel like a man, but what about a woman's wants and needs? "Give up Scuba diving honey- I don't like you doing it. Oh and if you don't have sex like a horny teenager I will find someone else who will- and that is your fault" I was just so disappointed by this book.
