After installing Tomato firmware it works perfect. Haven't had to restart it in weeks and it gives excellent reception throughout my apartment. Xbox Live works great with it.

You can never go wrong with this router. I've owned different versions over the years, they all preformed well. I have bought my share of other router, nothing can keep up with WRT54GL. My N-draft routers don't come close to this.

This is my second WRT54GL. I used my first one for around 3 years and gave it to a friend when they moved out (still working on perfect conditions) I tried the newer model afterwards but the wireless reception was really bad... I love this one, I did not give it 5 stars because if you one to install other wireless items, like a printer,is not as easy as other models that I have seen, but overall, this will do the job just fine without spending that much money on it!
